Nairobi - " Green City in the Sun" is the capital of Kenya. The local inhabitants of Nairobi are named as Nairobians. It lies across the Nairobi river and got its name from Massai meaning "cold water" of Nairobi river. It resides a national park making it as a top tourist destination. It is also known as "Safari Capital of the world" as it reside many different kind of animals including Lions, Giraffes, Black Rhinos, Zebras, Wilder beast, and more then 400 species of birds. Jomo Kenyatta International airport is the major airport of Nairobi, Kenya which is the largest airport inside the whole Africa continent. Nairobi is a multicultural city and Hurlingham and Parkland area reflect its early history. Many people from different countries had traveled here; Christianity and Islam are the major religion of Nairobi, Kenya.

David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
If you are being on a visit to Nairobi you must go there. This place will take all your breath away. It has attach with not only African wildlife but also the elephant orphanage will make you weep. You can feed elephants by adopting an orphanage for a day or so. It doesn't cost much but will make a real deal. Keepers will tell you animal name and type of food they eat and interesting facts.

Nairbi National Park

There are many kind of animals in the park, the only park that reside zebra, lion and rhino in the wild African life. Was establish in 1946 to provide safety to wildlife. It has given home to rhino, lion, leopard, cheetah, heyna, buffalo, giraffe, wildebeest, hippo and many species of birds. It is one of the largest Safari in the world.
Nairobi National Museum
It gives you the opportunity to know the history of Nairobi, its culture and art. A small garden and restaurant make it a nice place to visit.
Giraffe Center
Got many species of Giraffe especially Rothschild giraffe rarely found in Africa. Rothschild giraffe are almost extinct so the center was founded in 1970's by Jock-Melville. The program was success by then and many giraffe couple are still breathing. Opening time and closing time are 9 am to 5:30 pm.
Kibera Slum Tour
It is home for many different Kenyan tribes, if you are interested in learning the true culture of Kenya; this place is worth a visit.
