Egypt is one of the major countries of Africa. It is the 30th biggest country of the world. It is bordered by Israel at northeast, Mediterranean sea to the north, Gulf of Aqaba to the east, Sudan to the south and Libya to the west. Most of its inhabitants lives in Nile valley near the bank of river Nile. A large part of Sahara desert also lies in Egypt which is scarcely occupied. Egypt represents as one of the oldest civilization years back to 10th millennium BC. Its ancient civilization were one the most powerful of their time; there are many ancient cities left in ruins such as those of Memphis, Valley of the Kings, Karnak, Thebes and Luxor. Tourism is the major economic source of the country and Egypt employs 12% of its economic workforce on this site. Giza Necropolis
When in comes about traveling Africa, the first thought that comes in your mind are Egyptian pyramids at southern suburbs of Cairo. Pyramid are built ages ago, the Khufu pyramid is the highest one among the three most notable pyramids. It is 139 meters high.  Egyptians believe in Sun God Ra. Kings are considered as mediators among their Gods and human being.  Dead Kings were thought of as God of the dead and the new Pharaoh becomes Horus protector of Ra. Smooth sides of pyramids helps the kings in their ascendance to heaven.  Among these three pyramids a few mile away is the well known Egyptian statue the Great Sphinx of Giza is also a great place to visit. The Great Sphinx is the world largest monolith statue in the world.


Sharm EL Sheik
Sharm-el-sheikh is popular for its relaxing atmosphere and sea diving at the beautiful red sea with thousands of sea life sharks and barracudas. Besides sea diving surrounding places give a splendid view of red sea. Don't forget to sea the floor of Red sea as its colors will take your breath away.

Karnak
It is a religious site made by ancient Egyptian largest of its type. It mainly compose of three smaller temples 2.5 kilometers north of Luxos and many other temples. 

Nile Cruise

Valley of Kings
The valley was built for the nobility of Kings of Egypt near Luxor. You will learn about Egyptian mythology. Valley consist of 63 tombs and multiple chambers. Famous among them is the tomb of Tutankhamun one of the most renown king of Egyptian periods. 

Abu Simbel
Abu Simbel is one of the archaeological landmark in the history of Egypt. Remesis the Great carved out the temple in the remembrance of himself and his queen. 

Egyptian Museum
One of the world top historical museum of his name. It has collection of 120000 monuments of Egyptians history and culture. Artifacts of Ancient Egypt and many royal mummies in the lower section of the museum.
