Abuja is the capital city of Nigeria. Abuja is a planned city built in 1980s. It is the fourth most populous and expensive city of Nigeria and is considered among ten in Africa. Its geography is define be Aso rock as most of the major city area are located on the south of the rock. Aso rock is 400 meters wide and on its north there is Zuma rock near kaduna road. 1. Abuja National Mosque
Abuja National Mosque is a religious place open to all visitor to study Islamic laws, faith and vision.
Mosque was built in 1980 by President Shehu Usman and funding was gathered from people all around the country to built a religious center for Muslim community. There is a library where people can recite Islamic verses from Quran also people from other religious can study about Islamic history and other Islamic books. 2. Usman Dam and reservior
This is also a great destination in Abuja. Hike all the way down to the great waters of the Usman dam. Fisherman will take you on a boating trip. Hiking will be the best option to enjoy the calm atmosphere around the dam. There are great green rocks covered with grass which extends all across the Usman dam. Mountain biking will also make fun for people with such experience.


3. Aso rock
A great rock extends within the city. Rock was rise millions of years ago due to water erosion. Southern area of the rock is the home to national assembly, supreme courth and many embassies of other countries



4. Zuma rock
Zuma rock lies to the north of Aso rock, it is 725 meters talls a monolith and 3.1 km in circumference almost considered as a mountain. According to local it has some mysterious forces that attract tourists according to local people believe. Others can also see human like face on the rock.


5. Wuse Market
Abuja main market where you can buy fresh food & vegetables, furniture, clothing, carpets and other local stuff. The market is crowded and expensive but cheaper then city Malls. You can also take picture and experience the life of Nigerian people in daily life.
