Africa is the second biggest continent of the world with 1.1 billion population approximately. It is the most populated continent and also has lot of wild life on it. It is also the most multilingual continent as more then thousand languages have been reported among several tribes and culture. Africa is surrounded by Mediterranean sea to the north region. In the northeast red sea, Suez canal and Sinai Peninsula. In the southeast it is surrounded by Indian Ocean and Atlantic ocean in the west. Africa also has the many archipelagos and Madagascar as well. It consist of 54 sovereign fully recognize states, two de-facto independent states and 9 other territories. Algeria is largest country by land and Nigeria by population.
Africa has the largest population of wild animals including 1100 mammal species, 2600 birds species, amphibians, reptiles and larges number of marine animals including different more then 2000 species of fishes. Large number of snake and reptiles species are found in Madagascar.
Culture and Population
Since Africa is the most multilingual continent different groups of people live in Africa. Africa is the most poorest continent and it has been continuously affected by foreign forces. Thousand of different kind of human tribes and warfare has cross this continent and also it has lot of different religious groups. It is reported that the first human population and tribes use to be the part of this continent. Almost all kind of religious groups lives in Africa.
